Jason Voorhees

Friday the 13th (2009)

Today marks the 10th anniversary since the release of Friday the 13th (2009). This semi-remake/condensed version didn’t really do it for me at all, but when I was last in the Austin, Texas area for other locations, I thought I would stop by a few spots.

My first location was the gas station, which (surprise) is not that in reality.

It is located at 11606 Farm to Market Road 1826 a bit southwest of Austin.

They were not open when I visited, so no good shots except through the window.

Clay gets pulled over near these railroad tracks at the corner of Chestnut and Fayette Streets in Bastrop, Texas.

This is just a few blocks from the bridge location for Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2.

These shots are mostly here to look at the beautiful Jared Padalecki….

Trent’s house is located at1190 Red Hawk Road in Wimberley, Texas. I didn’t have screenshots with me, so just took a few shots to the best of my memory…

The bar is in the Old Settlers Park at 3300 Palm Valley Boulevard in Round Rock, Texas.

Quick visit back to Trent’s house. By the way, I loved Trent, played by Travis Van Winkle, the ultimate Friday the 13th asshole!

Back to the barn…

For the mask scene…

The finale (well kinda) also takes place at the barn.

Another remake on the way? Who knows, but I’m sure it will be in good hands at Blumhouse…
