Although technically a 2016 film, Hidden Figures was released theatrically in the United States on January 6, 2017. Below are several locations I visited for the film, but as I’m doing it a the eleventh hour, I am just quickly putting some addresses for now.
The opening scene was shot on Sandy Creek Road in Madison, Georgia (33°42'22.3"N 83°33'19.1"W)
The NASA exterior and gate was mostly CGI at OFS Leading Optical Innovations, located at 6305 Crescent Drive in Norcross, Georgia. The first pic shows the film pre-CGI. The other NASA locations were shot at Spellman College, but I wasn’t able to access that area during the visit.
This house is located at 1835 Linwood Avenue in East Point, Georgia; just a few blocks from the Strangers Things hospital.
The church is located at 2220 Bolton Rd NW in Atlanta.
This is at the corner of Spring and Broad Streets in Monroe, Georiga.
The library was located at 110 Academy Street in Canton, Georgia.
This is South Broad Street in Monroe, Georgia.
This is the front of the Walton County Historic Courthouse in Monroe, Georgia.
However, she actually goes up the steps on the side of the same building.
