Today marks the anniversary for the release of the Invaders From Mars remake, which premiered on June 6, 1986… 6-6-6? Below are a couple of locations that I visited many years back….
First up is the house, which is an administration building at Malibu Creek State Park at 1925 Las Virgenes Road in Calabasas, California. This is right next to the rest stop location from Halloween H20.
The school was shot at Eagle Rock Elementary at 2057 Fair Park Avenue in Los Angeles.
The gas station was located at 115 West Sierra Madre Boulevard in Sierra Madre. Of course this is right down the street from many locations including Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Psycho III, Halloween II, Halloween III, The Fog, Silent Night Deadly Night Part 2, Return of the Living Dead Part 2, and more. While the gas station is long gone, the building and parking lot across the street is still there and recognizable.
