Amazon Women On The Moon (1987)

Today marks the 35th anniversary for Amazon Women On The Moon. Although some pieces haven’t aged as well as others, there’s a lot that still makes me chuckle.

The opening segment apartments are at 570 North Rossmore Avenue in Los Angeles, California.

The corner where Steve Guttenberg is in the phone booth is located at 3353 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles.

City Hall in downtown Los Angeles was the backdrop for this scene.

The pharmacy was located at 1309 South Pacific Avenue in San Pedro, California.

The video store was located at 14621 Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, California. (I did go to this location but can’t find my pic, so Google Streetview for now.)

And of course, Vazquez Rocks was the location for the moon.

“Have you ever seen a shirt make a phone call?” Ed Begley Jr. as The Invisible Man.

One of the directors, Joe Dante.
