A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story (1992)

I love a good Meredith Baxter performance in a tv movie and nothing is better than A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story, which was broadcast on March 1, 1982. It is supposed to take place in San Diego but was mostly shot in the Los Angeles area.

Several houses are used in the film, this one is at 400 Vía De La Paz in Pacific Palisades, California.

The ski lodge was the Saddle Peak Lodge at 419 Cold Canyon Road in Calabasas, California.

Betty’s new house was shot at 15255 Vía De Las Olas in Pacific Palisades, California.

One house I can’t access because it’s in a gated community is this one at 99 Fremont Place. The house across the street at 100 Fremont Place was once owned by Jason Blum.

The Ebell courtyard was used for the graduation scene, located at 743 S Lucerne Boulevard in Los Angeles.

It was also used as the jail locaiton.

The house where she committed the murders is located at 500 S Lorraine Boulevard in Los Angeles, right by the house used in The Initiation of Sarah.

Here is what that same house looks like in reality, located in San Dieog.

Actors Michelle Johnson and Stephen Root.
