Many fans regard this as one of the worst of the series, and while it's not a favorite of mine, I liked a lot of the ideas and atmosphere they created. While the sets were created at a then-warehouse at 8985 Venice Boulevard in Culver City, there are a few other locations used in the film.
First up is an establishing shot of “Springwood High.” but this is actually stock footage of a building at Agnes Scott College in Georgia! This campus is best known for its appearance in Scream 2.
For the graduation scenes, they returned to Venice High School at 13000 Venice Boulevard.
The exterior of the Crave Inn is not really shown and is not in the same area as the previous movie. This time it's located on Main Street in Culver City on the street leading to the famous Culver Hotel (9400 Culver Boulevard).
A brief hospital exterior scene was filmed at the Veterans Hospital near UCLA. For those wanting to visit, this spot is easily found at building 238 across the street from the Brentwood Theatre.
If all locations were this easy and had the company name on the building, this is located at 2277 E 15th Street in downtown Los Angeles....
The series returned to UCLA for a few shots. These are the bottom of the steps leading up to Royce Hall from Dream Warriors.
This spot was used for the final scene, by the election walk section of UCLA.
I've been fortunate to meet a few of the cast throughout the years:
