Today marks the 40th anniversary of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. I was 16 at the time it came out and remember going to opening night and loving it. I’ve been to a few of the locations, some almost 20 years ago, but finally putting them together for this page. The film was shot around the areas of Chicago and Los Angeles.
The Bueller home is located at 4160 Country Club Drive in Long Beach, California. This house was also seen in American Dreamer, Not Another Teen Movie, and Red Dragon.

The restaurant was at 22 West Schiller Street in Chicago.
The principal looks for Ferris at 530 Chestnut Street in Winnetka, Illinois.
The water tower is by Freedom Park at 1225 Cedar Lane in Northbrook, Illinois.
