It’s Pat was one of many Saturday Night Live skits turned into a movie. It was an enormous failure, only grossing $60,000 compared to it’s $8,000,000 budget, due to a limited theatrical release. It has some interesting backstory, including script input from Quentin Tarantino! I had not rewatched the movie in decades, but threw it on and actually tickled me a bit. Which of course led me to track down the locations…
The apartment was pretty easy to find, located at 12345 Magnolia Boulevard in Valley Village.

Special thanks to H. for letting us take photos inside the courtyard at outside of Pat’s apartment!

I love this is still there!

This store is the Fair Oaks Pharmacy at 1526 Mission Street in South Pasadena. I didn’t go back to this location for this movie, but used some pics I had taken for Ouija: Origin of Evil.

Of course, when I go to visit this location it is being renovated. This is the 400 block of West 6th Street in San Pedro, California.

I’ve included some google streetview locations for reference in case this completely changes.

The strip club in reality is…. a strip club! It is at 1433 North La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles. I didn’t revisit this location but used pics I took many years ago for Madonna’s Music video.

Here they walk by the Warner Grand Theatre at 478 West 6th Street in San Pedro. It was being renovated during my visit, so using older pics I took when visiting this spot for Feud.

This spot is still on my “to do” list, so some google streetview shots for now, This is off Laurelgrove Avenue in North Hollywood.

Another location that I did not visit…. and probably never will. Here Pat is in front of the Store House at 1050 South Olive Street in downtown Los Angeles.

This scene was shot on the 11100 block of Chandler Boulevard in North Hollywood. Since that time, Phil’s Diner was moved over to 5230 Lankershim Boulevard. And since these pictures, it has changed names and appearances.

Ripley’s Believe It Or Not in Hollywood…

Another spot I did not visit and likely will not… here Pat is walking on the 300 block of 1st Street in Los Angeles.

Later, Pat is running on that same sidewalk….

…but Pat’s feet are back in Hollywood. (Google streetview for reference here.)

The last scene is at the Friendship Bell at 3601 S Gaffey Street in San Pedro.
