Today marks the anniversary for the release of The Poseidon Adventure. A monstrous hit at the time and launching the disaster genre of the 70’s, the film holds up relatively well and certainly better than the sequel and remake.
I recently visited the Queen Mary in Long Beach. I wasn’t intentionally going for any locations from this movie, so not a whole lot of good screen matches here, but thought I would share a few spots used in the film…before it’s capsized of course. :)
