Punch Drunk Love was released on October 11, 2002. This is probably my favorite Adam Sandler film, second of course to Jack And Jill of course. I first visited some of these locations back in 2014, but finally getting around to posting a page for this great film.
Our first and primary location is at Eckhart Auto Boyd, located at 10101 Canoga Avenue in Chatsworth, California.
I’m not sure how much of this location has changed since my visit, but the occupants are welcoming to fans.
After talking to this nice gentleman, he told me he actually got a speaking part in the film!
They have dinner at Le Petit Chateau at 4615 Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood.
It is now closed as a restaurant and is now known as the Comedy Chateau.
And there is still a used car lot across the street.
The 99 Cents store is at 19836 Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills.
The ATM across the parking lot is at 19858 Ventura Boulevard.
At the time, no one had found his apartment, but I tracked it down to 14926 Moorpark Street in Sherman Oaks.
Now across the ocean to Hawaii. This is the Honolulu International Airport… and yes, I only took the reverse angle, not knowing this was a location used in a film at the time!
This was shot on the 2200 block of Kalākaua Avenue in Honolulu.
The hotel scenes were shots at The Royal Hawaiian at 2259 Kalākaua Avenue.
