The guys live at the Bryson Apartments at 2701 Wilshire Boulevard near downtown Los Angeles.
One of the student’s houses is at 450 S Lucerne Boulevard in Los Angeles.
As the guys rive to school, they are going south on Arroyo Boulevard and turn on to Madeline Drive in Pasadena.
The stewardess school is the John S. Cravens estate at 430 Madeline Drive in Pasadena.
I wasn’t able to go inside, but found some pictures online to match up for reference.
They use on quick shot of John Burroughs Middle School as the dorm, located at 600 McCadden Place.
I haven’t hiked to this spot, but the students go running in Griffith Park, here at the intersection of Western Avenue Equestrian Trail and Skyline Trail. (Google-view pics for now.)

The airport scenes were shot at the Flight Path Museum at 6661 Imperial Highway in Los Angeles.
