Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)

Today marks the anniversary of the wide release of one of the best action films of all time, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. I’ve been to a few locations over the years to share.

One of the opening shots at the playground is Elysian Park with downtown Los Angeles in the background.

This area has been demolished, so using Google Streetview pics for reference, but this was part of the original Sixth Street bridge in downtown LA.

John’s house was at 19828 Valerio Street in Winnetka, California.

The Pescadero State Hospital was located at 11600 Eldridge Avenue in Los Angeles. (This was right next to the hospital used in Halloween III, now torn down.)

The ATM machine was at 14400 Roscoe Boulevard in Van Nuys, California.

The garage scenes were shot at 395 Santa Monica Place in Santa Monica, California.

The bridge scene was shot near the corner of Plummer and Hayvenhurst in Los Angeles.

This alley is off of 14224 Roscoe Boulevard in Van Nuys.

This scene was shot next to 11844 Foothill Boulevard in Sylmar, California.

Back to the playground was at Elysian Park in Los Angeles.

This parking garage was shot at what is now the Peterson Auto Museum. I believe it may actually be the lower level rather than what I have here though.

I only did a driveby of this gas station, so not very good shots, but not much exists from the time of filming. It is located at 38350 90th St E in Littlerock, California.

Cactus Jacks was located at 46551 140th St E in Lancaster, California. Since taking these pictures, this area has been fenced off.

Cyberdine was located at 47131 Bayside Parkway in Fremont, California.

The original ending was shot at the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanical Gardens at 301 North Baldwin Avenue in Aracadia, California.
