Happy 25th anniversary to HAPPY GILMORE, released on February 16, 1996.
Most of the film was shot in British Colubmia. I visited grandma’s house about 10 years ago, located 1938 West 19th Avenue. Obviously a rainy and cold day for this visit! The house is not too far from locations for Final Destination and When A Stranger Calls Back.
Silver Acres was shot at the old Riverview Hospital located at 2601 Lougheed In Coquitlam, British Columbia. This is used in many films including Halloween: Resurrection and Final Destination 2.
Happy Land Mini Golf was et up at Play Land at 2901 East Hastings Street. Here are a couple non-screen matched shots to give you an idea of the park, best known for it’s appearance in Final Destination 3.
