Wes Craven

Cursed (2005)

Wes Craven has some big hits (Scream, A Nightmare on Elm Street) and some big misses… this being one of them unfortunately. As most horror fans know, this film was “cursed” from the start and went through extensive reshoots, new scripts, and new cast. The finished product is not worthy of his name.

Tinsel is located at 1735 Vine Street, adjacent from Capitol Records in Los Angeles, California.

The siblings’ house is on the backlot of Universal Studios. It is located on Elm Street, which is not part of the normal tram tour because it is a very small cul-de-sac. However, I have requested to visit it while on VIP Tours, which are worth every penny.

You may sometimes see the side of the house while on regular tours.

Like many studio facades, the house has been continually altered for various films. This street has been used in many films but best known for its use in Hitch and The Incredible Hulk.

A few of the cast and crew I have met over the years…
